I hope you don't mind me writing to you but I just wanted to provide some feedback on your sales operation. I wanted to speak to you but I understand you are away today, hence my email.
I have been dealing with Steve Coleman reference my requirement for a bike for two photography projects I am doing - one in the Baltic region and another in Iceland. The experience I have had in dealing with Steve is nothing short of excellent. His knowledge, enthusiasm for the marque and willingness to accommodate every requirement that I put to him was superb. Nothing was too much trouble. I can honestly say that at no time did I ever feel that I was buying a bike from a salesman nor, indeed, being sold a bike by a salesman.
Writing this sort of an email is not something I make a habit of but, on this occasion, I felt I really must congratulate Allan Jefferies BMW and, particularly Steve, on their superb customer service.

I just wanted to thank you most sincerely for the magnificent service I received on Saturday to look at the sluggish starting problem on my R1150RS. I know it must have been a nuisance to have the bike in at short notice on a Saturday.
I was truly impressed when Dan told me that because the battery was one of the most likely causes of the problem a new one had been fitted, and that because the old one was less than two years old it was provided under warranty and that there was no charge. I had expected a bill, possibly even a fairly steep one, so I was of course very pleased and relieved. I did feel, however, that for me to have brought in the speedo cable restraint you so kindly provided gratis and for that too to have been fitted free of charge could have looked like me taking advantage of your generosity. I hope not - I did appreciate that too, of course.
The bike has been starting much better with the new battery, so hopefully that and not the starter motor was indeed the problem.
Once again I’m astounded at the quality of care and service my bike and I have received. I am extremely grateful. Please pass on my thanks to Dan and to your workshop staff.
I do hope you’ll find time sometime soon to visit the museum. I think you’ll find seeing the National Firearms Centre a memorable experience. A weekday other than a Tuesday is best for me (indeed it isn’t really possible to access the NFC at weekends). I look forward very much to hearing from you whenever you have a possible date in mind.

By far and away the best thing about my experiences has been the attention I have received from Allan Jeffries the supplying dealer of the bike. If anyone could give a lesson on customer service then they are the right people for the job. Their service and attention has been 1st class from the day I picked up my bike(s).

Good Afternoon
I am writing to make you aware of the efforts of Dan and his team in sorting out my problem regarding the indicator switch failure on my F800R.
Although concerned that such a failure has occurred on a bike that is only 2 years old and has done less than 5000 dry miles, my initial inquiry was dealt with quickly and the bike booked in for this morning to diagnose the problem; obviously the bike has just come out of warranty and as such I was concerned that this may be an expensive issue but after a quick diagnosis Dan informed me, without me having to “argue” the point that BWM would stand the repair if I would pay for the labour.
Having the issue resolved within minutes of the diagnosis was reassuring and saved me the stress of worrying whether BMW would be gracious under the circumstances.
I fully appreciate BMW’s part in allowing the “claim” but the way your staff dealt with the situation was first class, my confidence in Alan Jeffries is undented but my confidence in BMW is knocked to say the least, my intention was to keep the bike for a good number of years but I now wonder how many more quality issues there may be that will not be covered as time moves on. This however is no reflection on Alan Jeffries and I would appreciate it if you would pass on my thanks.

I would just like to pass on my thanks more formally to both Allan Jefferies and in particular Richard Watson from whom I purchased my new F800ST.
Richard was throroughly professional throughout my dealings with him, kept me updated on my order and delivery, and provided an excellent service that is not often seen, and certainly not the norm nowadays.

I just wanted to write and say thank you to everyone in every department involved in preparing my new machine and also to say what a brilliant dealership you have. All of your staff are really great, but I have to say a special thank you to Steve Coleman, yet again he has made buying my new bike a great experience. I just wanted to drop you a quick line to offer my sincere thanks for the way Allan Jefferies handled my recent warranty repair for my failed front shock absorber.
My bike wasn’t purchased from yourselves as I bought it privately. Never the less from the moment my bike was delivered to you via the BMW Mondial recovery service I was kept informed via Susie on service reception as to the status of the bike. I then received a call from your technician informing of what the fault was, and although BMW didn’t deliver the part (their fault not yours) I was kept updated on and when it did arrive it was fitted quickly and my bike was delivered back to me yesterday.
I’m absolutely delighted at the high level of service I’ve received from yourselves, and assure you that Allan Jefferies will be doing all the service work on my GS when its required.
Could you please pass on my sincere thanks to all that assisted me including your delivery driver who was 100% professional and courteous.
