Team Motobike wins with the BMW HP2 Sport at the ‘1,000 km Hockenheim’

Adverse track conditions and temperatures only just above freezing were not enough to stop Team Motobike from an excellent victory last Saturday, as Markus Barth and Jürgen Fuchs (151) achieved a clear win in Class 4 of the prestigious 1,000 km Hockenheim race. The BMW HP2 Sport passed its test in series production sports racing with flying colours.

All set for the WEC

At the official team presentation for the World Enduro Championship (WEC) in Arma di Taggia near San Remo, BMW Motorrad Motorsport presented its 2008 off-road team to the press. The riders, Anders Eriksson, Jean-Francois Goblet and Bert Meyer – who had already been presented at the shows in Milan and Madrid – were available for photos and also spoke at length to journalists about their sporting goals for this year.
